Caterpillar Inc. in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Senior IT Analyst – Technical Infrastructure and Test Cell to design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure and test cell solutions.

You will ensure reliability, security, and scalability across enterprise standards. You will manage small to medium IT projects, act as IT liaison for factories, support testing and acceptance activities, and collaborate with leadership to drive enterprise IT security and multi-site Test Cell strategy for Lafayette

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tools and techniques for requirement analysis; elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality.
• Design, plan and execute system testing strategies to ensure software quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage small to medium-sized IT projects with IT teams and stakeholders.
• Serve as IT liaison for factories and engage with facility leadership on shop floor technology solutions.
• Evaluate and support testing and acceptance activities for infrastructure components.
• Partner with IT leadership and facility management on enterprise IT security initiatives and compliance.
• Collaborate with global partners and service providers to support multi-site Test Cell strategy.
• Support new business expansion initiatives across infrastructure, applications and Test Cell environments for Lafayette Engine Center.
• Develop proposals for new requests, forecast demand, and follow IT demand management processes when IT is the supplier.
• Lead complex local infrastructure components supporting one or more applications or systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues.
