Job summary

Ohmstede Ltd. in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to lead and own its infrastructure operations across servers, virtualization, networks, backups, and security.

You will manage VMware ESXi, VxRail, Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and modern endpoint management with Intune and Azure Entra ID, while driving DR readiness and cybersecurity improvements. This hands-on role requires strong vendor coordination, documentation, and the ability to escalate complex

Qualifications

• 5+ years in progressively responsible systems or infra administration.
• Deep experience with Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and core infra tech.
• VMware virtualization and VxRail experience preferred.
• Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, FW, WAN/SD-WAN.
• Strong backup, restore testing, and DR documentation experience.
• MS 365/Azure/Intune, device management, and endpoint compliance.
• Proven troubleshooting, documentation, and vendor coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and communicate with technical/non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain server environments and virtualization.
• Manage VMware ESXi, vSphere, and Dell VxRail across locations.
• Oversee backup, DR, and business continuity readiness.
• Administer AD, DNS, DHCP, and related services; monitor SQL Server health.
• Support network infrastructure, Meraki gear, and SD-WAN.
• Lead cybersecurity, vulnerability remediation, and compliance efforts.
• Manage endpoint management via Intune and Azure Entra ID.
• Coordinate infrastructure projects and vendor relationships.
