Job summary

County of Sacramento is seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst Level I/II to lead and oversee complex IT projects across networking, servers, security, and radio systems. The role requires strong collaboration with multiple IT disciplines and independent judgment in analyzing and solving problems.

The position emphasizes planning, coordinating work, and communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences while ensuring adherence to County policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field.
• Three (3) years full-time paid technical or professional experience in OS/network/sys engineering or similar in a multi-platform environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads, plans, schedules and oversees the work of IT Infrastructure Analysts Level I/II performing advanced, specialized work.
• Ensures completion of tasks in accordance with policies and procedures; communicates policies and job expectations; provides training to staff.
• Communicates technical information to a wide variety of users and analyzes information to recommend improvements.
