Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is seeking an IT Operations Engineer responsible for managing global IT infrastructure, including on‑premises servers, cloud subscriptions, and network assets across facilities. You’ll implement best practices, drive automation, and ensure high availability, security, and cost efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Accredited two- or four-year degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in IT Operations.
• Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CISSP, and/or VCP preferred.
• Working knowledge of DevOps, Scrum/Agile, and Jira.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, storage and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with MHIA Shared Services to insource network and infrastructure responsibilities and support ongoing IT operations.
• Deploy monitoring and observability across hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead design and implementation of new technical processes and procedures.
• Ensure SLAs are met across all IT functions.
• Develop an infrastructure roadmap leveraging IaaS, PaaS and SaaS at scale.
• Architect highly available services with failover across facilities and cloud.
