Job summary

Liquidia Corporation seeks a Principal IT Infrastructure Engineer to own and advance its server, virtualization, cloud, and network estate across facilities, including manufacturing, under SOX, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11. The role is hands-on and strategic, defining technical roadmaps and coordinating with contracted resources.

The candidate will manage Microsoft Azure and on-premises infrastructure, ensure secure operations, and lead modernization efforts while maintaining compliance and robust

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive infrastructure engineering experience across server, virtualization, cloud, and network domains.
• Demonstrated hands-on administration of Microsoft Azure, including virtual networking and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Own design, build, and operation of server, storage, virtualization, and network estate across Liquidia facilities.
• Administer Azure environment, including subscriptions, networking, workloads, hybrid connectivity, and governance.
• Administer on-premises hypervisor and Windows Server infrastructure, including clustering and storage.
• Own the enterprise network, including switching, wireless, security, segmentation, and internet redundancy.
• Provide onsite engineering support for manufacturing and laboratory operations.
• Own backup, replication, and disaster recovery with documented restore procedures and DR testing.
• Execute patching and remediation across server, network, and cloud infrastructure per vulnerability program.
• Build to security baselines and serve as secondary operator for enterprise security platforms.
• Direct contracted infrastructure resources, define scope, and manage delivery against plan.
• Identify and drive infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives with cost/risk sequencing.
• Submit IT change control and support qualification/validation of GxP infrastructure.
