IDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex, customer-facing IT infrastructure projects in San Francisco, CA. The role emphasizes financial accountability, hands-on delivery, and strong client communication in a professional services setting.

You will manage end-to-end project delivery, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams while mitigating risks and ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure or related tech environments.
• Proven experience managing revenue-generating projects for external clients.
• Strong financial, budgeting, forecasting and cost-control skills.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT infrastructure and tech services projects for external clients.
• Own project budgets, forecasts, revenue, profitability and margins.
• Identify and mitigate cost overruns, scope creep and financial risks.
• Be the primary client liaison, managing expectations and communications.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Oversee data center infrastructure, networking, cabling, low-voltage systems, and related tech.
