Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking a Sr IT Governance Analyst in Durham, NC to lead IT governance, risk and controls for a multi-year program. The role requires strong governance, risk, and compliance experience along with exposure to AI initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in governance, 1–2 years in AI, and practical knowledge of NIST/NAIC processes. You will coordinate audits, improve SDLC controls, and partner with leaders across the organization to strengthen IT risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of related field experience.
• 5+ years of governance experience in IT.
• 1–2 years of AI exposure and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT governance, controls, and risk management across the IT lifecycle.
• Coordinate audits with internal teams and external firms.
• Identify weaknesses in IT controls and drive corrective actions.
