Job summary

OhioHealth seeks an Sr. IT Engineer MDM to own the enterprise device fleet across Apple, Windows, and Android. You will manage enrollment workflows end-to-end, troubleshoot edge cases, and drive a strategic roadmap for MDM across a large, diverse device population.

You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors, lead initiative planning, and ensure devices remain provisioned, secure, and up-to-date in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with 8 years of technical engineering experience.
• Hands-on administration experience with Jamf Pro for Apple device management.
• Hands-on administration experience with Workspace ONE UEM (Omnissa).
• Hands-on administration experience with Microsoft Intune for Windows/cross-platform management.
• Knowledge of Apple Business Manager and ADE/DEP enrollment workflows.
• Experience with device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and app deployment across platforms.
• Familiarity with enterprise mobility concepts: supervised mode, zero-touch provisioning, conditional access.
• Clear written communication for documentation and cross-team collaboration.

• 40% – Operations: Manage operational processes, crisis management, change and release management, and ITIL activities.
• 20% – Technology Strategy: Contribute to technology strategy and roadmaps, standards design and implementation.
• 10% – Research and Analysis: Plan and coordinate initiatives including cost optimization and efficiency.
• 25% – Supplier Management: Engage with suppliers and vendors, oversee dashboards and status reporting.
• 5% – Financial Management: Plan and monitor operating and capital budgets.

Job Description Summary: Sr. IT Engineer MDM will work to manage and evolve our enterprise device fleet across Apple, Windows, and Android platforms. You'll own the day-to-day operations and strategic roadmap for our mobile device management stack, ensuring devices are provisioned, secured, and maintained at scale. This role is a strong fit for someone who's comfortable owning enrollment workflows end-to-end and troubleshooting the inevitable edge cases that come with a large, diverse device fleet.

Responsibilities And Duties:

• 40% - Operations Works with internal customers and 3rd party vendors to communicate, coordinate, manage expectations, approve, and assist with operational processes such as crisis management, support escalation, change management, release management, capacity management, and other ITIL processes
• 20% - Technology Strategy Assists and sometimes leads the development of technology strategy and roadmap within a given area of specialty including design, documentation, communication, and implementation of new or existing standards for infrastructure technologies while remaining current on industry trends
• 10% - Research and Analysis Analyzes, plans, justifies, schedules, and coordinates the implementation and maintenance of the specialty area’s administrative, operational, and financial initiatives including TCO, optimization, and efficiency
• 25% - Supplier Management Works with suppliers and, when needed, vendors to produce outcomes consistent with organizational strategy. Overseas reporting metrics, dashboards, and status reporting to meet expectations for quality and performance for discretionary, support and maintenance work.
• 5% - Financial Management - Plans, monitors and controls operating and capital budget for assigned areas of responsibilities.
