Job summary

Cowboy Space Corp. is building space-grade IT infrastructure and seeking a Senior IT Engineer to architect, secure, and manage our systems in a tightly regulated ITAR/EAR environment.

You will own identity, devices, networks, and cloud infrastructure end-to-end, and lead automation across on-prem and cloud deployments. You will design zero-trust compliance, implement automation at scale, and collaborate with IT, Security, Compliance, and MSP partners to keep the infrastructure secure and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 7+ years IT experience.
• Experience running Microsoft 365 inside GCC High tenant.
• Demonstrated enterprise management of macOS/iOS and Windows in mixed environments.
• Strong networking across on-prem and cloud.
• Experience building secure infrastructure with zero-trust principles.

Responsibilities

• Harden GCC High environment including identity, tenant config, and compliance controls.
• Manage device management and conditional-access policies (Intune, PSSO, Entra).
• Ensure reliability of core IT infrastructure (VDI, directory services, identity/auth).
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code with secure baselines.
• Develop automation in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and AppleScript as production-grade tooling.
• Integrate endpoint and infra telemetry into SIEM and maintain audit-ready controls.
