Job summary

Otsuka is seeking an IT Engineer II to partner with US Commercial teams and IT to design, implement, and support data and analytics solutions. You will translate requirements into plans, guide junior engineers, and drive secure, compliant, scalable technology across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Responsibilities include collaborating with product owners, ensuring delivery within Agile frameworks, and contributing to data governance, security, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience as IT Engineer.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments is a plus but not required.
• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tooling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and functional requirements into well-architected technical solutions.
• Drive design and implementation of solution components aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Develop and configure systems across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
• Maintain high availability and perform root-cause analyses of incidents.
