Job summary

Freelance Latin America is seeking a Senior IT Tech to join a growing IT services team supporting a U.S.-based organization. You will handle advanced technical support, manage network and cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot complex IT issues, and strengthen cybersecurity practices.

You will lead technical projects, automation initiatives, and the professional development of junior technicians. Fluent English and Spanish are preferred; the role is fully remote with client-defined schedules and

Qualifications

• Senior IT role with advanced technical support background.
• Strong knowledge of networks, servers, virtualization, and cloud.
• Experience with security best practices and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Level 3 issues across networks, servers, and security.
• Configure and maintain LAN/WAN/VPN, firewalls, and virtualization.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, AD, DNS/DHCP, and GPOs.
• Administer cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and hybrid setups.
• Develop automation scripts to improve operations and monitoring.
• Lead projects like deployments, migrations, and upgrades.
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain documentation and support risk/compliance efforts.
