Job summary

Texas Capital Bank is seeking an IT Control Testing Senior Analyst to execute risk-based assessments of technology controls in the 2LOD. You will evaluate ITGCs, ITACs, automated and cybersecurity controls, partnering with Technology, Information Security, Operational Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to strengthen risk management.

The role requires 5+ years in technology risk or audit, strong knowledge of NIST/COBIT/COSO/FFIEC, and experience testing controls in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Technology Risk Management or related fields.
• Experience performing independent testing of ITGCs, ITACs and cybersecurity controls.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, COBIT, COSO, FFIEC guidance and SOX IT controls.
• Experience with control deficiencies, residual risk, and business impact.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute independent testing of ITGCs, ITACs, automated and cybersecurity controls.
• Prepare testing reports, risk assessments, and management summaries.
• Provide oversight and challenge to First Line of Defense on control design and testing results.
• Validate remediation actions and closure evidence; ensure root-cause analysis.
• Align testing activities with NIST, COBIT, COSO, FFIEC guidance and SOX expectations.
