Job summary

HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION (HHSC) seeks an IT Contract Administration Manager II to lead complex IT contract oversight from development to close-out. You’ll ensure contractor accountability, compliance, and effective vendor performance across the contract lifecycle, coordinating with internal stakeholders and legal as needed.

The role requires advanced communication and independent judgment, with telework options and a Austin-based office.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in contract management roles.
• Experience with IT contracts in a state or government context preferred.
• Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract lifecycle and monitoring plans.
• Maintain contract records in SCOR and CAPPS Financials.
• Manage risk assessments and vendor performance reports.
• Lead post-award conferences and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws and regulations.
