Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking an Information Technology Senior Consultant focused on datacenter operations and expansive network environments. You will lead cross-domain systems, standardize rack space and asset management, and support campus-wide cellular networking and firewall deployments.

The role covers VMware, NetApp storage, Linux/Windows servers, and 2G–4G cellular configurations. It requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly and a track record of delivering large projects within

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years relevant experience or Associates with 15+ years.
• High school diploma with 20 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineer maintaining datacenters containing multi-domain, cross-platform networks.
• Responsible for utilization/standardization of all rack space and networking equipment, including tracking location, asset details, operating systems, maintenance, retirement/consolidation and purchasing.
• Install, configure and support mobile cellular and wireless networks to support campus or system wide needs.
• Provide administration for VMware ESXi, vCloud Director, NetApp Storage, and Cellular/Wireless networks.
• Design, implement and configure 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE Cellular Network.
• Install and implement network firewalls and provide testing support.
• Manage Workstation and Server Environments with remote connectivity, DNS, and account administration for Windows, Linux and Ubuntu.
• Lead medium to large complex projects and major phases of very large projects.
