Job summary

Chandra Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Business/Compliance Analyst to support Michigan's Department of Technology, Management and Budget for MDCR, MCSC and MiLEAP.

You will oversee System Security Plans (SSPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs), ensuring alignment with NIST and SOM standards. The role acts as a compliance authority, coordinating with business partners, security teams, vendors, auditors, and project managers to drive consistent, auditable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Information Assurance, Business Analytics, or IT related field.
• OR: 5 years of experience.
• Advanced degrees preferred (MS/ MBA with IT concentration).
• Knowledge of NIST Framework and Controls.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for maintaining SSPs, ensuring alignment with NIST and SOM standards.
• Coordinate ATO renewal planning and materials across applications.
• Ensure valid ATO on a 3-year cycle and maintain security controls.
• Review risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop reports and perform trend analysis across agencies.
• Address Plans of Action & Milestones and ensure timely closure.
• Collaborate with vendors, auditors, project managers, and analysts.
• Guide evidence and artifacts for SSP and ATO processes.
• Oversee remediation of security controls with stakeholders.
• Lead incident response efforts for cyber events.
• Act as incident response specialist for detection, correlation, recovery.
