Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Category Management Specialist, Sr or Sr Staff to drive Supplier Commercial Excellence across IT sub-categories including Hardware, Software, and Services. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office two to three days weekly, in offices in The Woodlands TX, Jackson MS, Little Rock AR, or New Orleans LA, with Entergy offices as eligible.

As the single point of contact for third-party spend, you will lead contracting, strategic sourcing, negotiations, and post-award management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 9+ years in category management or strategic sourcing.
• 3+ years energy industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop category and subcategory strategies and monitor market trends.
• Lead IT service contracts and RFx processes.
• Negotiate terms and conditions and drive supplier performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business units.
• Manage post-award contract management and cost optimization.
