Description: Senior Epic Analyst – Remote

Location: Remote (U.S. – select states only)

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Salary Range: $90,000 – $105,000/year

Epic Certification Required: Professional Billing or Hospital Billing (SBO Admin)

About The Role

As a Senior Epic Analyst , you will play a critical role in designing, configuring, testing, and implementing Epic system applications with a focus on General Ledger support for Hospital and Professional Billing. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead operational workgroups, and serve as a subject matter expert to ensure the successful deployment and optimization of Epic solutions. This is a fully remote position with a strong emphasis on financial systems integration and support.

What You’ll DoSystem Design & Configuration

  • Lead the design and implementation of Epic application changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Configure Epic software to align with clinical and business workflows.
  • Maintain revenue mapping and troubleshoot General Ledger issues.

Testing & Validation

  • Develop and execute unit, functional, and integrated testing scripts.
  • Validate system performance and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Support application upgrades and patch testing.

Project & Change Management

  • Lead projects through all phases using enterprise PMO frameworks.
  • Coordinate change management strategies and impact assessments.
  • Ensure smooth transitions from implementation to operations.

Support & Maintenance

  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and support interface transactions and error queues.
  • Participate in a monthly on-call rotation post-conversion.

Mentorship & Documentation

  • Mentor junior analysts and onboard new team members.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with change control and security protocols.

What You’ll BringEducation & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED (required); Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or Healthcare (preferred).
  • 4+ years of Epic application experience, including configuration and support.
  • 2+ years in a healthcare IT environment (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of General Ledger processes and financial reporting.

Certifications

  • Epic Certification in Professional Billing or Hospital Billing (SBO Admin) – Required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting Epic General Ledger for Hospital and Professional Billing.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Additional Information

  • This is a direct hire role with a 20% placement fee .
  • Candidates must reside in an approved U.S. state (list available upon request).
  • Two interview rounds will be conducted.
