Job summary

Sabre Corporation in the Dallas area seeks a Sr Business Analyst - Coupa to join our Global Business Systems team. You will bridge Procurement, Finance, and AP, configuring Coupa and SAP, and optimizing P2P processes.

This role requires 5+ years in IT BA or functional consulting, with SAP ECC/S4HANA and Coupa expertise, plus strong integration know-how. Onsite three days per week at the Southlake office; collaborative, cross-functional work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT BA or Functional Consultant in P2P.
• Hands-on config/support SAP P2P/MM and/or Coupa.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end P2P lifecycle and GL accounting.
• Knowledge of integration architecture, middleware (REST/SOAP, ETL).
• Strong SDLC background with user stories, specs and tests.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and AP to map end-to-end P2P processes.
• Perform hands-on configuration in Coupa, SAP and supporting apps.
• Serve as SME for integrations between SAP, Coupa and vendor platforms.
• Provide Tier 3 support and maintain documentation and SOPs.

Sr Business Analyst - Coupa

We are seeking a Sr Business Analyst - Coupa to join our global Global Business Systems team, where innovation knows no borders. As a Sr Business Analyst - Coupa, you will serve as the primary functional and technical bridge connecting our Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams with our enterprise IT ecosystem. You will drive technical strategy, system configuration, integration, and continuous improvement across core P2P platforms, focusing on Coupa and SAP. This role requires strong business process acumen across the entire P2P lifecycle, practical technical configuration capabilities, and expertise in system integration and middleware.

What you'll do

• Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable stakeholders to elicit requirements, map end-to-end P2P processes, and support Travel & Incidental Expense management.
• Perform hands‑on functional configuration and administration in Coupa, SAP, and supporting applications to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs with minimal custom code.
• Serve as the functional and technical SME for integrations between SAP, Coupa, expense systems, banking networks, and third‑party vendor platforms, diagnosing and resolving complex integration and middleware errors.
• Provide Tier 3 application support to resolve complex production issues and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, system architecture maps, training materials, and SOPs.
• Proactively identify process bottlenecks and leverage automation, modern integration architectures, and analytics to streamline procurement workflows, improve auto‑reconciliation, and maximize adoption.

What you'll bring

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Functional Consultant specializing in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solutions within an enterprise Global Business Systems or Enterprise IT environment.
• Hands‑on experience configuring and supporting SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) P2P/MM module and/or Coupa (Procurement, Invoicing, Expenses, or Pay).
• Deep understanding of the end‑to‑end P2P lifecycle, corporate travel and incidental expense policies, tax management, three‑way matching, and general ledger accounting.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration architecture, middleware concepts (REST/SOAP APIs, flat files, sFTP, ETL, webhooks), and data flows between ERPs and cloud P2P platforms.
• Strong background in SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall) writing detailed User Stories, Technical Specs, and Acceptance Criteria, with experience managing testing strategies (UAT, Integration, Regression) and deployment cutovers.

Role will Require the candidate to interview in person and work onsite in our Southlake office 3 days a week.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications in Coupa, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP Ariba.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Google AI Studio, or supporting P2P/T&E tools such as SAP Concur.
