Responsibilities

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Azure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure solutions, with an emphasis on landing zones, vWAN, Bicep, deployment stacks, infrastructure as code, and DevTest Labs. The Azure Engineer will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud solutions.

  • Design and implement Azure landing zones to facilitate secure and efficient cloud environments.
  • Configure and manage Azure Virtual WAN (vWAN) for optimized network connectivity.
  • Develop and maintain Azure deployment stacks using Bicep and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Utilize DevTest Labs to create and manage development and testing environments in Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of Azure solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure to maintain high availability and performance.
  • Stay current with Azure updates and industry best practices to continuously improve solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on Azure-related topics.
  • Document and share knowledge of Azure configurations, processes, and procedures with the team.


The ideal candidate will be located in the Central or Eastern time zone.

Education / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Azure cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing Azure landing zones and Virtual WAN.
  • Strong experience with Bicep, deployment stacks, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevTest Labs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305, or similar are required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ideal candidate will be located in the Central or Eastern time zone.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
