Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an IT Auditor to lead planning and execution of financial, operational, and compliance audits across internal controls and processes. The Senior Auditor will guide project teams, coach peers, and ensure timely delivery of audit work papers and reports.

Responsibilities include developing audit objectives, executing audits, documenting findings, and escalating issues to management. Travel up to 15% may be required across states, with a focus on improving control environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of auditing experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with PowerPoint for presenting audit results.
• Knowledge of internal controls and COSO/COBIT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit objectives, scope, and programs based on risk assessment.
• Execute financial, operational, and compliance audits.
• Document testing in automated workpapers.
• Communicate audit progress to management and adjust plans as needed.
• Identify and report audit findings and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure coverage.
