Job summary

Berkadia is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to lead Infrastructure and Application audits within the Audit team. You will conduct independent assessments of processes, systems, and controls to improve risk management, operations, security, compliance, and internal control effectiveness.

Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS in a related field with at least 2 years of IT or operations auditing experience, plus strong communication skills and familiarity with COSO/COBIT/ISO/ITIL frameworks.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of IT or operations internal auditing, risk management, IT compliance, or IT security.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to translate technical risk into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audits of infrastructure and applications from planning to reporting.
• Develop audit programs, testing procedures, and document remediation plans.
• Coordinate SOC 1/SOC 2 engagements with stakeholders and external auditors.
• Identify issues, propose practical risk mitigations, and ensure timely project delivery.
