The University of Illinois System is seeking an IT Auditor to join the Audits IT-Urbana team in a hybrid role. The position supports campus staff in Chicago, Springfield, and Urbana-Champaign by providing IT audit expertise and coordination of audit-related IT activities.

Responsibilities include planning and conducting IT audits across the System, identifying control weaknesses, and communicating findings to management to improve governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Two years or more of experience in IT audit, IT operations, IT project management, regulatory compliance, or public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Perform information technology audits across the System and its entities.
• Coordinate fieldwork across Chicago, Springfield, and Urbana-Champaign campuses.
• Identify control weaknesses and opportunities to strengthen governance and compliance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management at all levels.
