Job summary

Cobb EMC is seeking an IT Auditor to lead IT audits across Cobb EMC and subsidiaries, including Gas South. You will oversee planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow up, using data analytics and BI to strengthen risk management and internal controls.

The role offers hybrid work with in‑office and remote days after training. Responsibilities include coordinating with external IT audit partners, presenting findings, and driving continuous improvement in the internal audit function using

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field required.
• Minimum five years IT/computer information systems experience.
• Two years in internal IT/audit, cybersecurity or controls.
• Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, data loss prevention.”
• Experience with IT audit frameworks (ISO, COBIT, NIST, NERC-CIP).

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audits from planning to reporting.
• Coordinate with external IT audit service providers.
• Write audit findings with actionable recommendations.
• Use BI tools to develop dashboards and analytics.
• Monitor remediation and progress of audit recommendations.
• Assist in IT risk assessment and audit planning.
