Job summary

Cobb EMC is seeking an IT Auditor to lead all phases of IT internal audits across Cobb EMC and subsidiaries, including Gas South. You will plan, perform fieldwork, report findings, and monitor remediation.

Leverage data analytics and continuous auditing to strengthen risk management, controls, and governance. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS, five years in IT/related functions with two years in audit, knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, cloud, databases, and security audits;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in IT, IT operations, network admin, or related IT functions, plus 2 years in internal audit or IT audit.
• Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, data loss prevention, cloud environments, databases, and security audits.
• Experience with IT audit methodologies and frameworks such as ISO, COBIT, NIST, and NERC-CIP.
• CISA certification or ability to obtain within established period; CIA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned IT audits, planning, risk assessments, fieldwork, and documentation.
• Coordinate with external IT audit providers and support internal staff testing.
• Perform IT control assessments and design tests; write clear findings and recommendations.
• Maintain relationships with technology and business leaders to support audit activities.
• Present audit findings to management and monitor remediation progress.
• Use data analytics and dashboards to improve audit efficiency and accuracy.
