Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Senior IT Auditor for the BDAM Application Controls team. The role focuses on technology risk, audit execution, and collaboration with external co-sourcing resources to improve governance, risk management, and controls across broker-dealer asset management applications.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of information technology audit experience in financial services or similar regulatory environment.
• Strong understanding of control theory and auditing practices; knowledge of testing and evidence gathering.
• Experience coordinating with external co-sourcing providers and internal business partners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT-focused internal audits in line with IIA standards and IAD policies.
• Draft audit observations and debrief with partners (VP level and below).
• Validate management action plans and track issue status.
• Participate in annual risk assessment process and document risk ratings.
• Coach and mentor audit team members; support onboarding and training.
