Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Senior Internal IT Auditor to lead and execute audit engagements across technology and cybersecurity domains. You will act as a subject matter resource, delivering high-quality audits with a focus on AI governance, risk management, and compliance.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced auditing knowledge, and familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO, and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Familiarity with COBIT, NIST, ISO, HIPAA frameworks
• Experience with AI governance, AI risk management and model risk
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) and secure coding practices
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare)
