As a member of Astrana Health’s Internal Audit department, the Sr. IT Auditor is responsible for planning and performing operational and compliance audits of information systems and applications of the company, its subsidiaries, and its external IT service providers. Under the direction of the Sr. Manager – IT Audit, the Sr. IT Auditor leverages their understanding of how IT applications, infrastructure, and processes support key business processes and assess internal control structures to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and management objectives. Responsibilities include defining control objectives, monitoring compliance, developing and updating SOX documentation, conducting various audit projects, and providing consulting services to management. The role requires adherence to professional standards such as IIA’s and ISACA’s, and the ability to work independently with judgment. The Sr. IT Auditor also acts as an internal consultant on IT General Controls (ITGCs), especially in SOX compliance, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
