Job summary

Moody's Internal Audit team is seeking a senior IT risk auditor to lead risk-based IT and integrated audits across the organization, coordinating with Technology, Data, and Product teams while coaching junior staff.

You will test controls in cloud environments, IAM, data governance, and AI governance, translating findings into actionable risk insights and practical remediation plans. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, risk, or controls in Big 4 or global org.
• Strong knowledge of IT risk, cloud, IAM, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with COSO/COBIT/ISO/NIST, SOX, and financial systems.
• Experience with data analytics to enhance audit testing and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute risk-based IT and integrated audits.
• Develop understanding of tech environment and IT risks across business segments.
• Test design and operating effectiveness across IT domains incl. cloud, IAM, patch mgmt, data governance, AI governance.
• Manage end-to-end audit lifecycle per standards.
• Draft observations and recommendations; coach team members.
• Coordinate with Technology, Data, and Product teams; maintain independence and drive remediation.
• Validate remediation and close issues; retest evidence and confirm improvements.
• Mentor junior staff and drive cycle time.
