Job summary

Moody's is seeking a senior IT and risk assurance leader to conduct risk-based IT and integrated audits across the organization. You will oversee testing of cloud environments, IAM, and data governance while guiding junior staff and partnering with Technology, Data, and Product teams.

A strong background in SOX, COSO/COBIT, and AI governance is required. You will drive remediation, develop risk insights, and ensure high-quality audit outputs, joining a team leveraging AI and analytics to advance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or a global organization within an audit, risk, or controls role.
• Strong technical knowledge of risk and controls across technologies and IT infrastructure including cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk standards (COSO, COBIT, ISO, NIST) and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Experience performing assurance on software development, SaaS, secure coding, cloud and data processes; fintech/tech sector experience valued.
• Ability to apply data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to enhance audit testing and monitoring.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, project management, and critical thinking skills.
• Fluency in English; ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Growing awareness of AI risk management and ethical AI use.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute risk-based IT and integrated audits across the organization, managing the full lifecycle.
• Develop deep understanding of technology environment, processes, and IT risks for scoping and testing.
• Test design and operating effectiveness across IT domains: cloud, IAM, infrastructure, vulnerability, change management, data governance, and AI governance.
• Manage end-to-end audit lifecycle, ensuring work aligns with standards and quality.
• Translate findings into business risk insights, draft observations and recommendations, coach team members.
• Collaborate with Technology, Data, and Product teams while maintaining independence and driving remediation.
• Validate remediation actions, retest evidence, and confirm sustainable control improvements.
• Coach junior team members on roles, expectations, and deliverables.
