Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a senior IT/audit leader to guide teams in executing complex audits across IT, operations, compliance, and risk. You will direct strategy, coaching, and oversight to ensure objectives, quality standards, timelines, and methodologies are met.

You’ll assess internal controls, partner with stakeholders, and drive remediation validation across the organization. You will lead teams, supervise audit procedures, and communicate findings to senior management, while nurturing talent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in auditing, accounting, finance, IT, or related field.
• Experience assessing risk and internal controls and communicating findings.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong data analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement audit programs following ERM and auditing standards.
• Ensure quality of audit reports, deliverables, and planning documents.
• Document internal controls using interviews, observations, flowcharts, testing, and analytics.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor auditors on projects.
• Present findings to management and monitor action plans for closure.
