Job summary

Deloitte Audit and Assurance is seeking an Information Technology Auditor - Senior Consultant to join our California team. You will work with leading professionals across industries, applying IT control testing, SOX/COSO frameworks, and audit analytics to help clients mitigate risks and improve controls.

You will lead engagements, mentor teams, and deliver high-quality reports while traveling up to 50% and collaborating with clients on complex control environments.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration, Finance or Internal Audit.
• 2+ years of related experience within professional services, external audit, or IT audit.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage engagements and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and oversee project deliverables, reports, and test controls.
• Experience auditing general computer controls and IT control testing of apps, OS, and databases.
• SOX and/or COSO knowledge and experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and commute as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized audit analytics and internal control services for internal and external audit clients.
• Work with complex, global clients across industries to navigate risks and opportunities.
• Perform IT general control audits and cyber security-related audits.
• Assist in system implementations, SOC reports, cloud and digital control assessments.
• Draft reports and participate in client presentations; ensure quality and timeliness.
