Job summary

Deloitte Audit and Assurance seeks an Information Technology Auditor – Senior Consultant to join a global team in the United States. You will perform IT risk assessments, design test plans, and deliver audit results across diverse industries, contributing to clients' resilience and regulatory compliance.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, lead engagements, and present findings while developing your professional skills in a fast‑paced environment. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration, Finance or Internal Audit.
• 2+ years of related experience within professional services, external audit, or IT audit.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage engagements and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and oversee project deliverables.
• Experience auditing general computer controls and IT control testing.
• SOX and COSO experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Reside within commutable distance of assigned office
• SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/PeopleSoft controls experience
• Prior Big-4 or similar firm experience
• Master's in accounting or Information Systems (preferred)
• CISA/CISSP/CIA/CISM certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide IT audit services including ITGCs, SOC reports, system implementations, cyber security audits, and internal control assessments.
• Contribute to digital control design, implementation, and operation.
• Perform risk assessments and design test plans, execute testing, and document results.
• Lead engagements, review deliverables, and present findings to clients.
• Collaborate with teams across industries and adapt to client needs.
• Travel as required (up to 50%) and co-locate with clients ~3 days per week.
