Job summary

TekNinjas in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Senior IT Audit Contractor to support its SOX compliance program. The role requires hands-on ITGC and ITAC testing, Key Report Testing, and SOC 1 reviews, with a focus on control assessment, testing execution, remediation support, and audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT audit experience.
• Strong SOX ITGC and ITAC testing experience.
• Experience with SOC 1 reviews and CUEC mapping.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the SOX program and audit documentation.
• Assess controls and execute ITGC/ITAC testing.
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders.

Job Title: Senior IT Audit Contractor
Location: Palo Alto, CA (hybrid)

Client is seeking an experienced Senior IT Audit Contractor to support its SOX compliance program. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in ITGC testing, ITAC testing, Key Report Testing, and SOC 1 reviews. This individual will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to assess controls, execute testing, support remediation efforts, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Required:

• 4+ years of IT Audit experience
• Strong SOX ITGC and ITAC testing experience
• Key Report Testing experience
• SOC 1 review and CUEC mapping experience
• External auditor coordination experience
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred:

• Big 4 background
• CISA certification
• AuditBoard experience
• SaaS/Technology industry experience
• SailPoint audit or implementation experience
