Job summary

The role requires FinOps expertise, strong Excel skills, and the ability to mentor others while aligning financial objectives with technology delivery. This on-site position supports 24/7 operations with a standard 6:00 AM–6:00 PM window Monday through Friday, and on-call flexibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years IT asset management experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
Experience working with business users to establish priorities and manage expectations.
Self-starter able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Excellent client service and communication skills.
Strong verbal and written communication; Engineering/Construction background a plus.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and optimize cost and financial processes to improve FinOps efficiency.
Partner with technology, finance, and business stakeholders to manage budgets and spend.
Analyze cost and usage data across cloud environments to identify optimization opportunities.
Implement and support showback/chargeback models for visibility and accountability.
Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives (rightsizing, license optimization, decommissioning).
Establish financial governance and cost management practices for audit readiness.
Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives aligning tech delivery with financial objectives.
Provide guidance and mentorship on FinOps principles and cost optimization.
Develop and enforce IT Asset Management best practices.
