Job summary

ActioNet is seeking a Senior IT Architect (Team Lead) to serve as a senior technical authority responsible for designing and guiding complex information technology solutions. This role will lead architectural efforts from concept through development and production, ensuring solutions align with business requirements, technical standards, security requirements, quality standards, and project schedules.

Location: Washington, DC or Gaithersburg, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience designing and developing software solutions or performing extensive software revisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural efforts from concept through development and production.
• Design and guide complex IT solutions aligned with security standards and quality controls.
• Collaborate with customers, technical teams, management to evaluate alternatives and options.
• Oversee software architecture, systems integration, and continuous integration practices.
• Coordinate development, beta, and production releases that meet QA standards.
• Provide technical oversight and leadership for projects to ensure on-time delivery.
