Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior IT Architect to advance growth, lead deal assessments, and mentor teams across capture and solutioning. The role requires deep experience in BD, program execution, and government contracting, with the ability to influence win strategies and differentiate SAIC’s offerings.

The candidate will operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, collaborating with senior leadership and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 20+ years related experience.
• Experience winning complex government contracts over $100M single-award
• Knowledge of federal procurement processes and contract types (CA/SA, OTA, OTA)
• Experience leading or contributing to BD, capture, and solution architecture for large programs
• U.S. Citizen with or able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead/participate in deal assessments and maximize win probability.
• Mentor Capture Managers, BD, and Solution Architects.
• Engage on opportunities to improve deal quality and win strategy.
• Apply industry best practices (Agile, ITIL, DevSecOps, MLOps) and AI to improve productivity and quality.
• Collaborate across Civilian, Space, Intelligence, and Defense domains to mature deals.
