Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a Senior IT Architect to own architecture design patterns, data tools and principles aligned with the IT Strategy. You will consult across the organization to support delivery of end-to-end capabilities and oversee health and risks of the Technical domain.

You will lead architectural operations, review projects for compliance, provide technical direction, and help develop reference architectures and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience.
• 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale systems.
• 6+ years delivering GIS solutions with Smallworld/ESRI.
• 6+ years delivering enterprise technical solutions.
• 5+ years with MEAN, LAMP or .NET stacks.
• 5+ years SQL Server experience with RDMS like Oracle or MySQL.
• Experience with SDLC and architecture frameworks.
• Willing to travel to Minneapolis or Denver.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Operations: review and approve projects for standards compliance.
• Provide technical direction and consult on optimal architecture.
• Develop and enforce reference architectures aligned with IT strategy.
• Lead cross-organizational work and influence enterprise standards.
• Contribute to IT strategy creation and technology roadmaps.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks related to technology.
