Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking application developers to work on existing and new custom application development and integration for its Natural Gas business users. The role involves collaborating with IT and business teams to gather requirements, design software solutions, and maintain documentation for ongoing projects.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5-8 years of related experience, strong SQL Server skills, and hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2-5 years of relevant job related experience is expected for some levels
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular/HTML5) and backend languages (Java, Groovy or C#) is preferred
• Relational database management systems, primarily SQL Server (T-SQL), are used in this role

Responsibilities

• Be willing to learn new IT and Business Skills regularly
• Collaborating with business users and IT to identify end-user requirements and specifications
• Designing and developing software systems using best practices
• Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects
• Testing and deploying programs and applications
• Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
• Participate in the on-call rotation which involves helping resolve issues when needed off of normal business hours
