Taghleef Industries, Inc. seeks a Lead Application Engineer to lead IT applications support for NA sites and collaborate with Global IT. The role includes managing a local team, vendor relations, and ensuring security/compliance per global policy.

Candidates should have extensive SAP exposure and manufacturing-IT experience. Based in Rosedale, IN, the role involves some after-hours support, travel between the US and Canada, and interaction with regional and global IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in Business Applications support in a Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Preference given to SAP experience, but any ERP system experience is desired.
• Technical proficiency: knowledge of software development, databases, business application support, and system integration.
• Project Management: experience with project methodologies and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Primarily office-based with occasional requirements to visit manufacturing sites.
• On-call availability may be required for critical business system issues and emergencies.
• Open to travel as required between the US and Canada, as well as to other Ti sites as per need.

Responsabilités

• Manages the business application operation support via the global helpdesk process.
• Manages the local application team: guide direct reports and junior specialists, coordinate with peers across Global IT.
• Vendor Coordination: managing relationships with software providers for updates, licensing, and support.
• Follow, align, and ensure Security & Compliance defined by Global IT.
• User Support & Training: facilitates end-user training sessions and maintains required SDLC documentation.
• Manages change request tasks, minor or major projects in the USA and Canada.
• Resolve Tier 2 user system problems by applying expertise in SAP ERP, SAP BI, SAP BO, and related tools.
• Ensure Business Team provides requirement documents and works with vendors for feasibility options.
• Provide support and ensure user acceptance testing and training processes are adhered to.
• Align with infrastructure and technology processes; participate in team environment.
• Evaluate new software/systems solutions for the business.
• Maintain professional communications at all levels of the organization.
• Handle other tasks as assigned by Regional IT Manager and Global IT Directors.
• Possible after-hours support and travel as needed.
