Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Sr Accountant, IT to lead accounting activities for IT support departments and projects. You will work with IT leadership and the Director, IT Finance Planning and Analysis on forecasts, budgets, and monthly reporting while maintaining GAAP adherence and strong internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of accounting experience, with excellent communication, analytical, and confidentiality skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting activities for assigned IT support departments, including journal entries, analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate with IT leadership and Director, IT Finance Planning and Analysis on forecasts and budgets.
• Review invoices for proper coding (CER, capital vs expense, prepaid amortization) and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare IT monthly reporting packages and participate in capital expenditure budgeting.
• Assist with audits and maintain internal controls.
