Job summary

GDIT is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support customer activities in McLean, VA. The role focuses on security across the Risk Management Framework, creating documentation and coordinating security testing with technical teams.

Responsibilities include security control identification, A&A support, and cloud security hardening. Requires 8+ years of related experience, TS/SCI with polygraph, and a Bachelor's in a related field.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors in a computer-related field.

Responsibilities

• Work with program security team to provide all aspects of security.
• Provide expert knowledge of the Risk Management Framework to support NIST SP 800-53 HHM systems through the A&A process.
• Construct security documentation including SSPs, POA&Ms, and BOE artifacts for sponsor approval.
• Identify security controls and collaborate with engineering, development and testing staff to create test plans and procedures.
• Implement security audit reviews ensuring audit records are collected and reviewed.
• Coordinate security testing exercises with external assessment teams and technical staff.
• Configure and support cloud-native services to protect the security posture of the system.
