Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for a large software development program. The role covers security policy development, risk mitigation, and lifecycle security across IT systems, networks, and applications.

You will collaborate with security professionals to detect threats, protect data, and assess vulnerabilities, while developing and maintaining Certification & Accreditation documentation and blueprints for secure operations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with MD Full Scope Polygraph is required.
• Minimum 10 years as ISSO, independently or on teams.
• At least 5 years using IAVA management tools.
• Experience evaluating security solutions and configurations.
• Experience drafting SSPs and other IA documentation.
• Proven experience in security operations of large information systems.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of information security policies and standards.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet requirements for processing data.
• Perform configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Analyze threats and develop incident detection and remediation methodologies.
• Maintain records for network devices and system upgrades.
• Update system security plans and IA documentation.
• Support ISSM in maintaining operational IA posture.
• Develop and update IA documentation and policies.
• Support IAVA management and security patching across sites.
• Provide CM for security-relevant software and firmware.
• Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms.
