Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the DoD/IC information assurance program. The role demands leadership in security operations, risk assessments, and policy enforcement to strengthen system security posture.

Qualified candidates have 12+ years in information security, DoD/IC experience, and TS/SCI with Polygraph. DoD 8140.03 IAM II+ certs preferred; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, 16+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Ten+ years as ISSO or similar security role for IC/DoD programs.
• Proficient with customer security tools, corporate repositories, playbooks and guidelines.
• Knowledgeable with applicable frameworks, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Operational understanding of server and IA technologies, internetworking protocols and services.
• Experience supporting over 30 SSPs.
• DoD 8140.03 IAM II+ certifications (e.g., CASP+, CISSP).
• Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph required (not sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations for information systems and assess risk for authorization.
• Manage configuration and system integrity, CM for security software/hardware/firmware.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans lifecycle management for compliance.
• Provide expertise in security policies and operations across stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing proactive solutions.
