Job summary

DAn Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a federal intelligence program. The role focuses on shaping cybersecurity, ensuring system security compliance, and managing risk across the program lifecycle with close collaboration across multiple teams.

Responsibilities include security assessments, SSP/POAM development, and ATO coordination, using XACTA and RMF, while applying Zero Trust for data services in cloud-native DPaaS environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Current Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II/III certification.
• Proficiency with XACTA and RMF, managing IATT/ATO processes.
• Proficiency with Splunk.
• Experience assessing IT architectures against security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical security assessments of computing environments and support cybersecurity initiatives.
• Ensure system security compliance, manage risks, and support certification and authorization throughout the program lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects, admins, developers, and testers to achieve and maintain ATO.
• Provide security guidance to ensure secure design and development.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, and other security artifacts using XACTA.
• Coordinate IATT and ATO activities with cybersecurity stakeholders and AOs.
• Implement and validate NIST SP 800-53 controls in DPaaS environments.
• Apply Zero Trust principles to data services, including identity management and segmentation.
