Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support a program's information assurance efforts. The role focuses on proposing, coordinating, implementing and enforcing information security policies, standards, and RMF-based practices.

The ISSE will maintain the security posture, evaluate solutions for classified processing, and prepare essential documentation (SSPs, risk assessments, C&A, SRTMs). Must have a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; four years of additional ISSO experience may substitute.
• Five years of ISSO experience on programs/contracts of similar scope; must include at least one of: security tools, hardware/software security, or communications protocols.
• Splunk, NIST RMF, and DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher.

Responsibilities

• Supports information security for the program, organization, system or enclave’s information assurance program.
• Proposes, coordinates, implements and enforces information systems security policies, standards and methodologies.
• Maintains operational security posture and supports day-to-day security operations.
• Evaluates security solutions to meet security requirements for processing classified information.
• Performs vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation.
• Provides CM for information system security software, hardware and firmware; manages changes and assesses security impact.
• Prepares and reviews SSPs, risk assessments, C&A packages and SRTMs; supports RMF security authorization.
