Job summary

IDS International is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) in Annapolis Junction, MD, to support the Information Systems Security Division (ISSD). This position emphasizes collaboration with government stakeholders to ensure adherence to security requirements and manage secure system operations.

The ISSE will engage in Risk Management Framework processes, security audits, and implement NIST controls to enhance security posture while maintaining compliance with federal standards.

An active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with eight years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess strong experience supporting RMF processes and system security engineering activities.
• Ability to apply NIST 800‑53 Rev. 5 controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external customers to complete required government security documentation.
• Perform regular audits of information systems to ensure compliance with established security controls.
• Support RMF activities, including documentation and system authorization processes.
