Job summary

General Dynamics - IT in Albuquerque seeks an ISSO III to maintain a robust security posture for critical information systems. You will work closely with the ISSM and ISO to develop authorization documentation, implement configuration management, and monitor systems for compliance and risk.

Responsibilities include preparing authorization packages, conducting continuous monitoring, reporting on safeguards, and facilitating incident handling and security training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field with relevant experience.
• 5+ years related experience in security domains.
• 2+ years SAP experience required.
• IAT Level II or IAM Level II certifications within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media.
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization determinations.
• Conduct periodic reviews for compliance with security packages.
• Coordinate changes to hardware/software with ISSM before implementation.
• Monitor recovery to ensure security features are restored and functional.
• Maintain current security documentation accessible to authorized personnel.
• Collect, review, and document audit records and anomalies.
• Attend required technical and security training related to duties.
• Execute the cyber security portion of self-inspections and reviews.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures.
• Prepare reports on security safeguards status for systems.
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers.
• Conduct continuous monitoring for authorization boundaries.
