Job summary

Soliel LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a high-visibility DoD program. You will perform RMF assessment and Authorization reviews as a senior SME, maintaining hands-on cybersecurity expertise while guiding task management and client-facing activities.

This hybrid role offers a clear path toward Project Management and team leadership, with 3 days on-site per week.

Qualifications

8–10+ years of hands-on cybersecurity, A&A, or RMF experience.
Expert knowledge of Navy IT sites, systems, eMASS, and RMF across environments.
Active IAM or IAT Level III certification per DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140.
Active SECRET clearance with Top Secret eligibility and T3 investigation.
Strong written and oral communication and briefing skills.
Leadership aptitude and interest in gradual project/team management.

Responsibilities

RMF package review & technical execution within a 5-business-day window.
Review SSPs, security baselines, and SAR artifacts per NAVSEA SOPs.
Identify bottlenecks and implement automation to optimize workflow.
Facilitate meetings and brief senior stakeholders on authorization recommendations.
Coordinate workload remotely and mentor junior analysts as you lead.
