Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a 100% employee-owned contractor, seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to support NAS Jacksonville, FL. The role requires RMF and JSIG expertise, strong authorization package know-how, and the ability to manually develop Bodies of Evidence.

You will work with government, technical, and security stakeholders to protect mission-critical national security systems, maintain security posture, prepare security documentation, and coordinate changes.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility.
• 8–10 years of relevant ISSO/ISSM experience.
• DoD 8140 IAM Level III certification or ability to obtain within 6 months from hire.
• Experience with RMF, JSIG, DoD, NIST standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security posture and readiness of assigned information systems.
• Prepare and maintain RMF authorization packages and supporting security documentation.
• Create, organize, and maintain Bodies of Evidence manually without GRC tools.
• Coordinate proposed changes with the ISSM, ISO, AO, or DAO before implementation.
• Travel within CONUS, generally up to 10 days annually.
