Job summary

Saalex is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Camarillo/Naval Air Station Point Mugu, CA to support cybersecurity, RMF, and C&A activities. The selected candidate will manage RMF documentation, support ATO efforts, and ensure ongoing security compliance for multiple DoD systems.

Required: 10+ years of cyber/IA experience, TS clearance with SAP access, and certifications such as CISSP/CASP+/Security+.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity/IA/RMF/C&A experience.
• Must hold CISSP/CASP+/Security+ or CEH or equivalent DoD 8140/8570-compliant IA cert.
• Strong knowledge of the RMF and system authorization lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RMF and accreditation documentation to achieve and maintain system ATO status.
• Support ATO efforts and continuous monitoring throughout the system lifecycle.
• Ensure security policies, procedures, and controls are implemented by the ISSM.
